In 2013, my eyes were opened to the sad truth that many pot bellied pigs were spending their last few days of life in concrete cells at animal shelters all over the United States, or even worse, listed on Craigslist sites to be rehomed or "to be slaughtered." It became apparent to me that I had to do something about this awful epidemic. It just so happened that my husband is also an animal lover and has a hard time saying no to me! (It also helped that we live on 34 acres).
We started out with 2 piggies of our own, and with rescued and rehomed pigs, we currently have 33, including 1 farm piggy. My husband and I both work to ensure our piggies are taken care of. We have a wonderful local vet who does all of the spay & neuters for us. We are not breeders! We are also very blessed with two teenage children who also love animals and help us with daily feedings.
Thank you for stopping by our site. If you are able to help with a donation, we would be very grateful.
